The Sacramento Breastfeeding Coalition (formerly known as the Breastfeeding Coalition of Greater Sacramento) is a non-profit association of regional representatives, businesses, mothers, lactation consultants, and other health care professionals. We welcome anyone interested in improving infant, family, and community health by making breastfeeding the societal norm as we promote, support, and protect breastfeeding in all areas of life.

BIG DAY OF GIVING.

We want our lactation professionals to look like the people that they serve and because of this we know that we need to do better to support BIPOC persons pursuing their lactation goals.

The Karen Evon Memorial Scholarship is the perfect way for us to pay homage to a local lactation legend and help aspiring lactation professionals reach their goals.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!

For the last 10+ years we have hosted the Baby Lounge at the Sacramento County Fair and we look forward to hosting this wonderful space again this year but we NEED your help!

What is the Baby Lounge?
The Baby Lounge is a clean, private space for parents to nurse or pump while visiting the fair. There is also a changing table available for changing diapers.

How can you help?
Sign up to be a Baby Lounge host. Shifts are only 3 hours long and each volunteer receives free parking and admission. Plus you get to connect with your community. This is a rewarding experience as all of the nursing families who use the lounge are very grateful for the space.
