Meet Oral Storyteller & Facilitator (How Nigerian Are You Game?)
Bukky, a mother of two here in the Bay. I'm also known as Sisi Cali. I grew up looking forward to Tales by Moonlight, sitting captivated as stories rooted in our culture were passed down in the tradition of oral storytelling, stories that entertained us but, more importantly, carried wisdom, values, consequences, and lessons about how to live. As a Yoruba woman and now a mother, I long to carry that tradition forward with our children, preserving a way of storytelling that connects them to where they come from while passing on the wisdom of those who came before us.
