Sorry, Orange 🤭!

For those of you that don't know, Orange was born with 6 other siblings & they all looked the same. To be able to tell them apart, the vet made little marks on their ears with various sharpie colors.

Tomorrow is Adoption Day & as always, we offer grooming & nail trimming services for your bunnies with a $10 donation! But we're adding something new! In addition to our grooming service, we are also throwing in some homemade rabbit cookies! There is a limited amount available, so try to come early!

*All bunnies brought to us for grooming must come with proof of vaccination*

You can also stop by & chat with our friendly volunteers & ask all the bunny questions! We can also groom & trim your rabbit's nails with a $10 donation. (All rabbits must provide proof of vaccination).

Today is a day full of celebration with family & friends, but don't forget about your furry companions. Here are some tips to help destress your pet, not just your bun:

🐰 Soundproof your home by closing windows & doors to muffle outside noises.
🐰 Draw curtains & blinds to keep the outside flashing lights from comjng inside.
🐰 Turn on soft music or a TV at a low volume to drown out noises.
🐰 Provide easily accessible hiding spots so they have a place they can feel safe.
🐰 Give your pet some space. Check on them, of course. But constant fussing & handling can cause more unnecessary stress.

We hope these tips help make this holiday more enjoyable & we wish you all a happy & safe 4th of July 🇺🇲!

Adoption Day was full of smiles! Why? THREE rabbits went to home with their new families! Red, Wren (new to the adoption floor), & Green all found their forever homes! We are so excited they found their perfect matches & are starting this new chapter!

Everyone at SHRS is so grateful to have supporters who help us continue to rescue rabbits, provide them care, & find them homes. You guys truly make a difference 💖.
