October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. Families all over the world honor their children and others at 7pm local times by lighting a candle in remembrance. This will be our 3rd year participating in this event in honor of our sweet Malcolm and his angel cousins and friends.

We hope that you all participate for the babies taken too soon. 💛

Today marks 2 years without our sweet boy, Malcolm. The boy who always looked at the light as if he belonged in it.

After two years I’m ready to outwardly say that Malcolm passed from having a loose blanket in his crib. We had never been informed about anything other than SIDS (sudden infant death) and all we were told is that you don’t want babies to overheat.

We always made sure his blankets were away from his face but the bassinet we bought was NOT safe and caused him to roll. Even so, if the blanket was not with him, he’d probably still be here today. We will never ever get over that guilt of his loss. His death could have been prevented if we had known what we were doing was wrong. We will ensure to educate as many as possible to ensure this doesn’t happen to any other babies.

Please light a candle for our sweet baby. 💛

This is a huge discovery for those who have lost their children to SIDS. Our hearts are with you all and I hope this can bring parents some comfort and relief. 💛

Please continue to follow safe-sleep protocols as Accidental Suffocation can be falsely labeled as SIDS when it falls under SUIDS which is different.

More than 1,000 babies in the U.S. die of SIDS each year, according to the CDC.

Today is International Bereaved Mother’s Day. Today is for the Mama’s who wake up when they don’t want to. The Mama’s who never met their children and for those who met them but didn’t get to keep.

This Sunday is Bereaved Mother’s Day. This is not a day for pity but for the Mother’s who’ve had to give their babies back to the universe to be gently celebrated and appreciated. Remember us this weekend 💛

Today some people will give their kids baskets and go egg hunting. For some of us we are left with the ache of never being able to do that again.

We know we’ve been MIA lately but we wanted to let you know that we are here and still thriving. We’ve been focusing on a lot of behind the scenes work and have been planning on different ways to continue to grow and thrive.

During this month our hearts are with you and all of our little Valentine’s in the sky. They say that when you have a child that you find out what it’s like to have your heart walking outside of your body. Malcolm took my whole heart with him where he is now. Our love truly goes beyond death, beyond time. I miss you my little Valentine. ❤️‍🩹
