2nd Recess

2nd Recess Our after-school youth running program is designed to introduce children ages 5 & up to fun and fitness through running.

2nd Recess is an after-school youth running program for kids ages 5 & up. Each 1-hour practice introduces athletes to fun and fitness through running. Kids learn from local professionals about what makes exercise fun and rewarding. Each practice consists of a thorough warmup, drills, and strides, followed by two workouts and a cooldown. Practice concludes with an inspirational topic and a healthy

snack. Each participant receives a practice shirt and water bottle when they sign up.
