CPSC is building the foundation for solar panel collection across California, identifying pathways and breaking down barriers to reuse and recycling.
Through our pilot programs, we collect unwanted solar panels for free while advancing a more sustainable system. Currently, in our pilot program with , we are collecting Marin County residential solar panels for free! oin Valley Vision and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) at the Drive Forward Community Workshop on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Florin Creek Recreation Center to share your thoughts and ideas about clean vehicle regulations, programs and incentives!
Community input will help shape potential clean vehicle rules for light- and heavy-duty vehicles and greenhouse gas regulations that will continue to help the State and communities across California achieve clean air and climate goals.

We could use your help!
And you could use some healing and color! (yes darker hued folks, you too!)
We have two garden managers and one of them is recovering from surgery so we have had a winter off from the garden.
And while there are still...
- artichokes and fruit trees thriving,
- and community going in daily to make sure everything gets water,
there are also WEEDS GALORE!
We need folks to come in and help us w**d, turn the soil, and provide those positive vibes/energy so we can get these spring veggies planted.
We will be out at the garden May 23rd from 9am-12pm for a Community Weeding Party! 😁
Come through and bring your friends, your kids, your parents, your students, your grandparents, your local elected representatives....bring everyone you can think of so we can prepare to feed the community.
Oh and one more huge thing!
If you have a lawn mower we could really use a volunteer(s) to cut the grass on the parcel of land that is in front of our garden. A w**d whacker might be needed too. 😬

When students bring up climate worries, our instinct is often to reassure them. But here's what we've learned: those feelings don't need to be fixed. They need to be heard. 💚
Naming what they feel (fear, grief, frustration, hope!) can actually be the first step toward action. Try the Coping with Climate Anxiety lesson to help students research and practice a coping strategy that works for them. 🌍
