💙 Our first ever Blue Collar Business Mixer may not have drawn a huge crowd, but oh did it draw a lot of heart 🧡. Being in a room together with so much love for our community is such an amazing feeling. Thank you to Michele at Bright & Sparkly Cleaning Service and Jeff and Stacy from Next Door Overhead Doors for coming out, enjoying some food and drinks with us and sharing your experiences as a local blue collar business. We're so excited for all the good we will be doing in our community together. And a major thank you for the love, support and delicious food from La Placita!!! And to our Business Liaison, Scott for all of his hard work putting this together. We hope more businesses can join us again in January. Feel free to contact any of us. Today our Green Teen, Connor M and his mom, our President and Founder, answered a call for a neighbor in need. A while back some of our volunteers went and cleaned up her backyard but unfortunately her green waste can is the baby version so it didn't all fit. These two went back to help clean up the rest. After looking around it was realized that a little bit more help was needed removing other items. In one phone call she got even more help thanks to Clifford’s Junk Removal who will be scheduling a time to assist, free of charge to this resident. You can keep us helping others like this by donating today at helpinghandsov.org
