Big news 💛 I’m starting the adoption journey next year!

Adoption has always been my first choice for growing our family, and it feels like the right path for us.

I have Type 1 diabetes, and while pregnancy isn’t the path for me, adoption allows me to follow my dream of becoming a parent safely and fully.

We’ve started a fundraiser to help make this dream a reality, and any support—big or small—brings us closer to meeting our child.

I’m raising funds for Riding On Insulin, a nonprofit that teaches kids and teens with Type 1 diabetes how to ski and snowboard.

As someone who’s lived with T1D for 25 years and has been snowboarding for 16, this cause means so much to me.

Riding On Insulin has helped thousands of young people gain confidence on the mountain, and I want to give back to the community that’s shaped my life. 💙🏂

💙 If you’re grieving today, know that you’re not alone. It’s ok to take a day off and cuddle your pets and take care of yourself. Last night I was feeling really hopeless, but I know that that feeling is temporary. Let’s take time to take care of ourselves and our community. 💙
