The City of Folsom is seeking the help of one or more volunteer artists to paint a dragon for installation in the soon-to-be completed renovation of the beloved “Castle Park,” in the Willow Creek South area of Folsom.

We had a great turnout last night for the March demo. Cheryl Gleason demonstrated oil & wax on panel to create non-figurative & abstract artwork. Her talk was very engaging and inspiring! Cheryl is the executive director of the MACC in Rancho Cordova.

In addition, we invited FAA's scholarship winner Folsom Lake College Student Santino Sfrengeu to join us so we could present him with his check. He will be back at the June meeting to share some of his art.
