Today, we ask for your generous donation to support our Rental Assistance Program.
Our Rental Assistance Program is crucial in preventing evictions and homelessness in our community. In the past year alone, we have helped 13 families, including 23 adults, 11 children, and five seniors, maintain their housing. These families were on the brink of losing their homes, and with the assistance provided, they could maintain stable housing and access essential resources like food banks, clothing, and utility assistance.
Rental assistance is a lifeline for many families facing economic challenges. Research shows that a $400 emergency can push most families into homelessness, highlighting the critical importance of programs like ours in preventing individuals and families from becoming unhoused.
By supporting our Rental Assistance Program, you are helping families stay housed and empowering them to access resources and support that contribute to long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
Please consider making a donation on the Big Day of Giving to support our Rental Assistance Program and help us continue our mission of helping Citrus Heights' most vulnerable.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
