Another annual club defensive night shoot in the books. This has been a great way to practice with your EDC (every day carry) in a safe live fire environment. Every year’s weather has been a roll of the dice, from a perfect moon lit night to below freezing. This year was a nice wet & cold one. Always a great experience!

The El Dorado Gun Club held its 2026 inaugural meeting with the new executive board. We gave a heartfelt sendoff to President Dave “ our exalted leader” Longcor, Treasurer Sandra “Numbers” Longcor, and Secretary Sharon “The Backbone” Denton, each honored with a personalized plaque for their outstanding service to the club.

We also welcomed our new leadership: President Chris Modlin, who generously sponsored an appetizer table enjoyed by all, along with Shaun Gardner, Treasurer, and Mike Davis, Secretary. Also new board member Roy Dickinson. A great night and a strong start to 2026!
