2026 - Five new banners added to our Sabina display; two were updated; and one was replaced

We would like to extend a big thank you to our Village crew for helping to hang the military banners throughout Sabina today. Your hard work is appreciated.

As new banners are added to our program, the display will continue down East Elm Street in addition to Washington Street.

A huge thank you to our incredible Village crew for once again installing the military banners throughout Sabina. Your hard work and care do not go unnoticed.

I also want to sincerely thank the Sabina Military Banner Committee for everything they do behind the scenes to make this program possible year after year. From organizing and maintaining the banners to carefully storing them and making sure they always look their best, this program simply would not happen without your dedication.

Thank you as well to the Sabina Library for providing space to help organize everything. Community partnerships like this are what make small towns special.

Our military personnel and veterans are near and dear to my heart. As many of you know, my brother served in the United States Marine Corps and his banner proudly hangs here in town alongside so many others who served our country. I know these banners mean so much to the families and loved ones who see them displayed, and they serve as a visible reminder that Sabina honors and remembers those who served.

Thank you to everyone who helps keep this meaningful tradition alive. 🇺🇸

New 2026 military banners that were ordered in March arrived today. If you have a personal size lawn banner to pick up, you should have received a phone call today with instructions.

Military banners have been moved out of storage and are in the process of being sorted for display this year.

All 114 Sabina Military Banners have been collected and safely stored for the winter months. Thank you to volunteers Susan, Marilyn, and Peggy for completing the inventory and placing them in the storage area.

We will set a date in March/April for those who would like to order a military banner in 2026 to add to our display. Keep watching this page for details. Applications can be picked up at the Sabina Public Library if you wish to have one ready in advance.

We would like to thank Mayor Johnson, Steve Carroll and our village crew for removing military banners from poles this week to prepare them for winter storage. Thanks also goes out to staff at the Sabina Public Library for assisting with carrying banners to our storage area. An inventory check will be completed on Saturday.
