Congratulations to Grady Gallagher, the first recipient of the Ernie Sule Jr. Scholarship!
Grady played many sports including football, where his connection to Ernie grew over his 4 years at Rutland. He has received several awards and accolades in his sports career. When Ernie heard he applied his first words were, “He’s a great leader!” In researching for this award I learned that he is kind and respectful and has drive for greatness. We believe in his ability to achieve all his goals and more! Congratulations Grady!

Did you know Ernie appeared in a Halloween parade with the RHS cheerleaders? Here he is dressed as Mr. Peanut with the herd of circus elephants. His wife, Joan hand made the costume from wire and burlap.
