The North Central Louisiana Self Help Group was founded to help bring people together who share common life experiences for support, education and mutual aid. We are not affiliated with any national organization and our group is made up of people and their families who are living through their personal journey with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The benefits of participating in our group including: (1)
sharing personal life experiences, information and strategies for confronting the daily challenges of living with MS; (2) finding support from others who are living the daily experience of MS; (3) the opportunity to help others by sharing your experiences; and (4) empowering yourself to deal/cope with the challenges of living with MS. We encourage you to join our group, attend events, and become active in your own care by joining with others who have a shared experience. We come together as a group to lift each other up through personal struggles and encourage each other to try new things and live each day to its full potential. This is a group open to those who want to positively work toward improving their journey with MS. Please no negative comments or arguing or you will be removed from the group! We are here to build each other up through a positive support system. Questions, stories, shared experiences, are welcomed and encouraged.
