Arkansas River Valley Cherokee Pantry Arkansas River Valley Cherokee Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank dedicated to providing free food to those in need. Please bring an empty box for food.

ARVCC is a nonprofit organization run by Jim and Diane Davis. We exist to help individuals or families by giving them groceries we have on hand. We normally give food on the 2nd & 4th Fridays of each month from 10am-12pm, but dates and times may vary, depending on when our shipments arrive. We recommend everyone watch our page for updates, as giveaways are announced individually as we receive shi

pments. These dates and times are subject to change due to holidays, illness, or inclement weather. Our food is completely free to the public, but we appreciate donations to help pay for our food costs, fuel, & utilities. We operate by donations only, as we receive no federal funding. Anyone can participate; there are no income requirements. We ask that you take only what is needed for your immediate household. We currently assist over 700 families per month and invite financial support of willing sponsors in order to serve the community even further. Monetary donations would be greatly appreciated and would help cover food, utility bills, and fuel & truck maintenance for the weekly (lengthy) trips to pick up food. If you’d like to donate, please contact Jim Davis at 479-747-7406, Diane Davis at 479-857-2617, or Patty Taylor at 479-857-0104. All helpers with ARVCC are purely volunteer; 100% of monetary donations are used to help families in need.

What an exciting day for Russellville! We’re inviting the public to line the sides of Lake Front Drive (today, Sunday, May 17), from Hwy 7 to Bona Dea, from 12-1 or so, to cheer on the Run for the Wall veterans as they ride in on their motorcycles!!!! Run For The Wall starts in California & ends at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington DC.

The RFTW Midway riders will be stopping for lunch at Veteran Memorial Park in Russellville. Many River Valley businesses have donated food, supplies, & resources, to provide a delicious meal & a wonderful rest for these service members & patriots. Many of us have the pleasure of serving their delicious lunch today, & we are so honored!

This lunch is reserved for the Run For The Wall veterans, but we encourage everyone to show support by waving from Lake Front Drive! They’ll be traveling on I-40 East, to exit 81, & then to Lake Front Drive, where they’ll stop for lunch at River Valley Veterans Memorial Park. We expect the first few riders around 12:00-12:20 and the majority of them around 12:50. Let me tell you, hearing the roar of those bikes, coupled with the patriotism felt when seeing these service members, is incredible! We are blessed to serve them along their journey! They will leave around 2:05, so stick around & give them a nice send-off if you can! Thank you for making them feel welcome!

Please pray for their continued safety & good health, as they make their way to Washington DC!
