Today, we celebrate National Firefighter Day and recognize the men and women who serve our community with courage and dedication each day. We are so grateful for everything they do.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Russellville Fire Dept. right in the heart of downtown, bringing a strong sense of safety and connection to Main Street. Our partnership with our local fire department means so much to us. They play an important role in keeping our downtown running smoothly while also showing up time and time again to support events, connect with families, and be a positive, familiar presence in our community.

We truly love having them as part of Main Street and are grateful for all they do, today and every day. ❤️

This past week, our team had the incredible privilege of attending the 2026 National Main Street Now Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma! Main Street Director Danielle Housenick, Board President Susan West, and Marketing & Event Coordinator Sidney Loosey Parker were grateful for the chance to learn, connect, and bring back new ideas for our community.

The conference, hosted by Main Street America, brings together people from all over the country who care about keeping their downtowns strong, welcoming, and full of life. It was inspiring to hear real stories, share ideas, and see what’s working in other towns.

We sat in on sessions about supporting small businesses, planning fun and meaningful events, improving how we share our story, and finding new ways to bring people downtown.

Exploring Tulsa’s downtown was also a highlight. It’s a great example of how a community can grow while still holding onto what makes it special.

We’re coming home excited, inspired, and ready to keep building something great together. 💛
