I have been so busy lately but today I got to apply for a grant for $5000.00 and I’m really hoping that we will get it for the toy drive. We also got the most incredible delivery /drop off of toys. Look at these squishy. The kids that will be so happy on Christmas Eve is making me emotional just thinking about it. Amanda McLaughlin I’m so excited for this. You made my day seeing this.

If you’re out shopping and spot a good deal for the toy drive, here are some gift ideas for kids up to age 12. I like to keep an eye on what kids are interested in so we can add those things to our wish list!

Ages 5–7: NeeDoh, squishies, fidget toys, KPop Demon Hunters dolls or Squishmallows, Hatchin’ Yoshi, Magna-Tiles, and slime kits.

Ages 8–12: NeeDoh, squishies, fidget toys, LEGO sets, Pokémon cards, Tamagotchi Paradise, CrunchLabs kits, and Mini Brands.

I haven’t checked prices; I just wanted to share some ideas in case you find a good deal. Please add your ideas, too! If you have kids, you probably know what they’re asking for this year. 😊

Thank you!
Katie

This was a wonderful interview that Danielle Emond did on the DDF toy drive. Please take the time to read it. I’m so incredibly proud of this team and our community for the support with this project!!! Can’t wait to get started again in October. 🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻🎄

Over the last few months we had some really great donations from Jessica Naples, Cindrie Cunningham Cormier and Larry Skillin. This is going to be such a wonderful year to start with a great collection of coats, clothing and toys. Thank you all for making such a great donation and thinking of us!
What we would like to get next is a few rolling closets to put the coats and ski pants up by size.
