Looks like security. Actually works in the kissing department. 😂💙

Bruno will get the door, give you kisses, and introduce you to his emotional support stuffies. He knows SIT and PAW, too, handsome AND educated. 🐾

This energetic boy is approximately 1 year old, 45 lbs, and a neutered Lab mix. He takes treats gently and is still working on leash manners and jumping when excited.

Come meet Bruno outside the glass! 💙

Missnogo knows what it’s like to have a home… and now she’s back in a shelter, waiting again.

She was once adopted, but later was found as a stray. Her family never came back for her.

Missnogo is such a sweet, gentle girl, but the shelter environment is clearly very stressful for her. Even with that, she is still loving and easy to handle. She enjoys petting, takes treats very gently, knows sit, and has a low to medium energy level. She can pull on the leash, but it is controllable.

She deserves more than this. She deserves a family who will truly keep her forever.

• Missnogo — ID
• 2 years old
• 63 lbs
• Stray intake: 8/16/26

Available for adoption, foster, rescue, or foster to adopt.

One pallet of dental treats. A whole lot of happy shelter dogs. 🐶💛

Thanks to Greater Good Charities , the dogs at Garland Animal Services got a special delivery, and we got the best job: handing out the goodies!

While they wait for families of their own, moments like these bring a little extra joy to their day. A treat, a kind voice, and someone taking the time to make them feel loved. Small moments. Real good.

Thank you to Greater Good Charities and North Texas Rescue Bank / Shutter Down Ranch (Shutt'er Down Ranch and Rescue ) for supporting animals in our community. These happy faces are what your generosity looks like in action. 🐾

Good exists. Sometimes, it’s happily chewing a dental treat. ❤️

Sully is just ONE YEAR OLD and already so scared of the world around him. He arrived at the shelter on September 28, and he is clearly overwhelmed by everything around him.

The barking, loud noises, and kennel environment.

We don’t know what Sully has been through, but it’s sad to see such a young dog like this. He is very shy, submissive, and non-reactive to other dogs,he has been great with staff. He isn’t asking for much, just a quiet place.

Sully will need someone patient, someone who understands that trust takes time and who will let him come out of his shell at his own pace.

He is only one year old. He deserves to know what it feels like to be loved instead of afraid.

• Sully — ID
• 1 year old | Male
• At the shelter since September 28, 2026
• Non-reactive to other dogs
• Very shy, scared, and submissive
• Frightened by loud noises and barking
• Needs a patient and understanding home

Sully is available for adoption, foster, rescue, or foster-to-adopt!

If you have a dog at home and would like to schedule a meet-and-greet with Sully, please call the shelter to make an appointment.

A second chance at life. A forever home still to come. 🐾❤️

Heidi arrived at Wylie Animal Shelter with a devastating leg injury that required amputation. FRAs covered the cost of her lifesaving medical treatment, and her surgery was performed at Garland Animal Services giving her the chance to heal and have a future. ❤️

That support made this next chapter possible. Heidi has recovered, her stitches are out, and she’s staying with a foster family while she waits for a forever home.

But so far, she hasn’t had any adoption interest. Let’s help change that. 🏡

Interested in making Heidi part of your family? Contact Wylie Animal Shelter to learn more and arrange to meet her:

🚨 FOSTERS URGENTLY NEEDED - THE SHELTER IS AT CAPACITY 🚨

Garland Animal Shelter urgently needs foster homes for medium and large dogs. Every dog who spends time in a foster home creates space at the shelter while getting a much-needed break from kennel life.

The five dogs pictured are the shelter’s longest residents, waiting between 264 and 354 days:

🐾 Piper A286056 - 354 days
🐾 Brock A287498 - 283 days
🐾 Dorsett A287794 - 270 days
🐾 Cielo A287900 - 266 days
🐾 Thumper A287641 - 264 days

And they’re only a few of the dogs who could use a foster home right now.

💙 You don’t have to make a long-term commitment to make a difference. Even fostering for a few days, a weekend, or a couple of weeks can help.

The shelter can provide food, crates, leashes, collars, toys, blankets and other supplies as needed, and medical care is provided through the shelter. If you have pets at home, the shelter can help coordinate a meet-and-greet and find a dog who may be a good fit for your household.

Fostering isn’t the only way to help. You can also adopt or Foster-to-Adopt, which gives you a two-week trial period to see if a dog is the right fit for your family.

🐾 **KANE **A294245

📌 UPDATE: In Foster 📌

Sometimes all it takes is a little patience for a dog’s personality to shine! ❤️

Kane arrived at the shelter timid, cautious, and unsure of people. But with consistent attention and patience, this handsome boy is really starting to come out of his shell!

Kane is an incredibly sweet, gentle boy with a playful side that’s beginning to emerge! He loves chasing stuffed toys and even leaps into the air to catch them. He’s also becoming quite the affection seeker, especially when it comes to butt scratches. Stop scratching, and he’ll back that b***y right up for more! 😂

🐾 A little more about Kane:

* 🎓6 years old - Belgian Malinois
* 🦮 Walks beautifully on a leash
* 🦴 Takes treats very gently
* ❤️ Sweet, gentle, and increasingly affectionate
* 🐶 Has been nonreactive toward nearby dogs
* 🌱 Still building confidence and trust

Kane has made wonderful progress, but he’s still learning to trust. He needs a patient home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace.

❤️ Could you be the one to help Kane keep blossoming?

📣 Please share, comment, and react to help bring Kane one step closer to finding his forever family! Every interaction helps his story reach more people and could be the connection that changes his life.

Every day, Mabel looks through the shelter window, watching visitors come and go and other dogs get noticed while she continues to wait. 💔 She’s been waiting for a home since April.

Mabel (ID: 61623202) is REALLY struggling with severe kennel stress and desperately needs a foster or adoptive home.

She recently went to a training facility for an evaluation, where she spent time playing, interacting with staff, and meeting some dogs she did well with.

And if you love a dog who LOVES toys… this girl can literally spend HOURS playing with them. 🤍 She’s smart, affectionate, playful, and loves attention and cuddles.

The shelter environment is just not where Mabel shines. She needs someone to give her a chance to decompress and show her true personality outside of a kennel.
