Tons of gratitude going out to Barb Crosby for these meaningful additions to the Central Park playground. What a great idea you had and thank you for doing all the leg work to make it happen!

Thank you to all the Central School teachers and the Progressive Community Club for the funds to upgrade the benches to memorial benches. And thank you to Gary and Deb Thomas for helping find an engraver and helping with installation!

RCP has 21 borders left to sell. Please message if you want any.

Interlocking borders for raised gardens, raised flower beds, or playgrounds. $30 each. APS playground borders are 52″ long, 4″ wide, and 12″ high. When installed, each border covers 4 lineal feet. Borders feature our patented Surfacing Guide (US Patent #716,113 and D732,357) and snap-in-spike.

The surfacing guide serves as a ruler to ensure adequate levels of safety surfacing. For more details, go to https://actionplaysystems.com/borders/

Roundup Community Partners volunteers have replacing the Central School Playground. Because of some deeply buried concrete, we are selling these borders to recoup some of our cost and ALL proceeds will go to pour concrete in the basketball court at the Central Playground. Our playground vendor would not return them without huge restocking and freight fees.

Central Park Playground is open! It took Roundup Community Partners (RCP) 5 years of design, fundraising, and coordination; but the new playground equipment and basketball hoops at Central School are installed and open for play! The park is officially called Central Park, as it is preserved in honor of our historic Central School built in 1911. The park includes three memorial benches that will be dedicated to Central School staff.

This project would not have been possible without the fiscal and in-kind support of these partners, and RCP is so grateful for their help:

RCP will be hosting a Grand Opening on Sunday, June 28th at 2 pm to celebrate the revitalized park and all the partners who made it possible. RCP is still fundraising for the unexpected costs of concrete at the new basketball court site. It is currently uneven, broken asphalt that we would like to replace with concrete for our youth. Thank you again to everyone who helped this project become a reality!

Please stay off the playground while it's under construction! It is dangerous and can damage the equipment until it is completely stabilized. If we have good weather, it should be open for fun in 12 days!!!!
