This Pure Religion Sunday, we had the privilege to partner with our home church, Waypoint Church, to shed light on those most vulnerable in our local communities. James 1:27 calls us to care for the widows and orphans, and there is a part for everyone to play.

For the Good had the privilege of helping raise funds and walk with a family who is going through a domestic adoption, and as of the end of the summer, we get to celebrate some really sweet news: they are fully funded and waiting on the call for whomever God has chosen for them. 🙌

Now we wait and pray.

Pray for this family. Pray for the call they’re waiting for. Pray for the doors that need to open and, ultimately, for God to go before them every step of the way.

This is another reason For the Good exists to come alongside families, mobilize the church, and remind people that they don’t have to walk through hard things alone.

🍋🥹 My heart is just so full seeing these sweet faces!

These kiddos (and their fam) wanted to help For the Good, So they grabbed some lemonade and got to work! 💛

I just love their big hearts and their desire to make a difference.

And a BIG thank you to everyone who stopped by, bought lemonade, and supported these sweet kids! Your kindness means so much and helps further the mission of For the Good.

🥹🍋 This is what making a difference looks like.

Some of my sweet little friends decided they wanted to do something BIG to help families in our community through For the Good so they’re having a lemonade stand! 🍋💛

I love that they’re learning that you don’t have to be grown-up, wealthy, or have a big platform to make an impact. You just need a willing heart and a desire to help. These kids are choosing to use what they have to help other families. And honestly? That’s what For the Good is all about. ❤️

So if you see their lemonade stand, STOP. BUY SOME LEMONADE. 😂🍋 And encourage these little changemakers who are showing us all what it looks like to love your neighbor. (They are in Liberty Hill, if you are in that area or want to make a trip message me for location)

Thank you, sweet friends, for believing that even something as simple as a cup of lemonade, out in this hot Texas sun, can turn a heart to make a difference. 💛
