Team Grondin's weekend was cut short by rain but these athletes finished the season the Starfire way — 3-0 on Saturday and Tournament Champs. The final standings were based on pool play and first bracket game results.

After starting our bracket with a hard-fought battle that ended in a one-run loss, Team Grondin responded with an impressive 6-game run on Sunday with 5 of those games being back to back in the grueling heat. What stood out most was the resilience. This team stayed focused, trusted each other, and continued to compete one pitch at a time. They played with confidence, energy, and the kind of grit that defines Starfire softball.

Team Grondin is your NCS Crossroads Summer Kickoff Elite Bracket champs 🏆

These athletes continue to show what resilience, grit, and teamwork look like. We're extremely proud of the way they showed up for one another and individually pushed through their tough moments.

Tournament Highlights:
🥎 Huge offensive innings that changed games fast including an 11-run inning and a huge 7-run inning comeback
🥎 Grand slam energy in bracket play
🥎 Dominant pitching performances with big strikeout numbers
🥎 Walk-off win in the championship game in OT
🥎 Team-wide contributions up and down the lineup

A huge shoutout to our championship game MVP, chosen by the umpire crew for her stellar pitching performance this weekend - #15 Janely! She won a glove but since she's a lefty it has to be ordered 😆
