Our Annual Young Men's Summit is back with a new name: The Cornerstone Young Men's Summit.

Building on the success of previous years, we're expanding our partnership to provide an even greater experience for young men in grades 8-12. Alongside our original partners, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Omicron Nu Nu Chapter) and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. (Sigma Kappa Sigma Chapter), we are excited to welcome Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (Gamma Eta Lambda Chapter), Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (Austin Alumni Chapter), Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. (Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter), and 100 Black Men of Austin to this year's summit.

Together with our Round Rock partners and the continued support of Round Rock ISD, we are committed to equipping young men with the knowledge, mentorship, and resources they need as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.

Registration is now open. Scan the QR code on the flyer and register your young man today.

Here are a few more moments captured from our Juneteenth observance as we honored the lives, sacrifices, and legacy of those who came before us.

We are grateful to all who joined us in preserving this important history and ensuring that future generations remember the stories and contributions of those laid to rest at the Round Rock Slave Cemetery.

Today was another successful event honoring those who came before us. Many people are unaware that Round Rock is home to a cemetery for formerly enslaved individuals, a sacred place that we have proudly helped maintain for the past two years.

This year, we unveiled a new cemetery sign, placed lights to mark unmarked graves, and dedicated a beautiful marble bench that we hope will inspire visitors for generations to come.

Seeing the impact of this work firsthand only strengthens our commitment to preserving history and honoring the legacy of our ancestors.

WM Essien Ita delivers a powerful message during the Annual Juneteenth Celebration at the historic Round Rock Slave Cemetery.

His remarks served as a reminder of the sacrifices, resilience, and enduring legacy of those who came before us. As we honor our history, we remain committed to preserving their stories and ensuring future generations never forget the path that was paved for them.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Round Rock Cemetery Association, local elected officials, community leaders, and dignitaries who joined us in commemorating this solemn occasion. Your presence and support helped make this day a meaningful tribute to those whose lives and sacrifices continue to inspire us.
