This is a work in progress, and we are aiming to roll out a clear way forward that reflects our values; highlights the achievements of our members; reinforces our mission; and clearly illustrates our role as the Air Force Auxiliary.

The Cadet Encampment Assistance Program (CEAP) application process for Spring/Summer Encampments opens Saturday, March 1st at 8am CT. The deadline to apply is Thursday, May 1st. Decisions will be made the first week of May.
Squadron Commanders please approve CEAP applications ASAP.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the banquet tonight. We will start at 6pm sharp so we can finish on time as we have a full program. We will make every effort to finish by 8:00 pm though we have a contingency to 8:30pm should agenda items take longer than expected.

Park in lot off of Duty Ave. after turning from Kentucky Ave which runs along the west side of the Institute. There will be some construction barriers in place, but there is plenty of parking in the lot. Walk towards the east on the sidewalk in the small corridor between Hinkle Hall and the construction barriers. Enter Hinkle Hall in the large double sided doors on the south side of the building, go up the stairs to the second floor and the VMV ballroom is to the left.

Great CAP night. Small but good group tonight as many Cadets and NMMI are not back yet. We had two new Cadet promotions congrats to Cadet Airmen Miller and Summers. Cadet Chief Gray gave presented his Chief essay and speech and did a great job. We then had drill practice and test and congrats to Cadet Chief Gray and Cadet TSgt Simons on passing their drill test. We then attend a teams meeting for setting up our upcoming joint CAP & NASA project mission on a congrats study. Cadets and Seniors will be joining a team to capture data for NASA over the next several months.

We welcome our cadets back for the new year for our first meeting of the year Tuesday 1/7/25 from 1800 -2000. If you are interested in Civil Air Patrol this is a great time to start. January is a focus on Cybersecurity and coding activities.
