What an amazing meeting this was! Pack 94’s April meeting was all about the Outdoors! We started off by learning how to pitch a tent and what to pack for an overnight camping adventure! This included the Cub Scout Six Essentials! We discussed how to handle an emergency and how to prevent them from happening in the first place. We learned how Cub Scouts leave any place better than how we found it. After these lessons, we took a little field trip up to our Nevada Agri Department’s barn! We got to speak with Mr. Drake Givens about the FFA program and the pigs they are raising! We learned so much on this visit! Thank you, Mr. Givens! 🐖

Let’s get caught up! Pack 94’s March meeting was all about Personal Fitness! Our very special guest speaker was Ashlee Russell, of our Blue Jay cafeteria staff! She taught us all about nutrition and healthy vs non-healthy foods. Afterwards, we went outside for some exercises and relaxation techniques! We learned many methods to keep our minds and bodies strong!

We are SO proud to share with you all that Pack 94 is officially fully uniformed! These photos were taken on the day our uniform shirts were delivered. Our scouts were so excited to try them on for our March meeting. (Unfortunately, we had several scouts absent on this day, so you may see some faces missing.) Thank you so much to the Caddo Area Council, BSA for supporting the return of our pack and making this happen. 💙

We apologize for being behind on posting!! We had a FANTASTIC February meeting! Nurse Lindsey Casey gave us an in depth presentation on all the ways our scouts can help in an emergency situation. Each scout even got to assemble their own first aid kit! Thanks so much Nurse Lindsey! 👩🏻‍⚕️🩹

Pack 94 had a great meeting this evening! We ran out of time for all of our planned activities in December, so we continued our discussions about Citizenship this month! We were honored to have Mr. Michael Martin of the Military Officers Association of America speak to us about flag etiquette! He presented our pack with a certificate and gave flag pins to each scout. We were also thrilled to receive a donation over the holiday break which included official uniforms for our Arrow of Light den! We are looking forward to collecting uniforms for the rest of our dens as well. If you know anyone who would like to donate a new or used blue Cub Scout uniform shirt, please send them our way. Have a great new year!

🎅🏼 Pack 94’s December meeting is complete! Our Cub Scouts learned so many things about citizenship tonight. We were honored to hear from two guest speakers, Mrs. Sherry Ford and Mayor Quarles of Rosston who both discussed civic duties and their personal connections to scouting. Also, our amazing senior Lady Jay volleyball players gave a lesson to our younger scouts. Activities were designed to reinforce the significance of following rules and having a role in a community. We look forward to gathering again in January!
