Raise Your Hand Foundation Changing lives, strengthening a nation... one university scholarship at a time. In 2014 the deadly Ebola virus took many more lives.

The beautiful West African nation of Liberia lost much in 14 years of civil war, including critical numbers of vital service professionals. For decades Liberians have been on a journey of perseverance and rebuilding. And since 2007 we've walked alongside them in that effort. To date Raise Your Hand Foundation (RYHF) has provided 800+ young Liberian men and women the opportunity to pursue careers a

s doctors, nurses, teachers, agriculture specialists, engineers, and social workers, all careers identified as in critically short supply in the nation. We are an all-volunteer organization working from home offices in both countries, internally supporting our minimal overhead costs and guaranteeing to our donors that 100% of their donations go directly to fund academic scholarships, leadership development, and emergency humanitarian relief for our students. An RYHF university scholarship is a sustainable gift of hope, both for the individual who receives it and for future generations of Liberians who will benefit from the training and service of our young graduates.

Today is the last day of our official Shine On! Campaign! Thank you to ALL who contributed to our building fund, we sincerely appreciate your generosity.

Our goal to complete the second floor of our NEW Light Academy campus is $17,000 and to date with Shine On! we have raised $6,300! Checks and online donations are still coming in and we welcome every dollar with gratitude.
