It’s with great sadness that we have to announce that we lost Peter Brady today. His foster mom has been working around the clock to help Peter fight an unknown issue. He did go to the vet today and it was decided that the humane thing to do was to let him go 🙁

For some reason, getting 4 of my foster kittens ready to be spayed/neutered tomorrow has me in my feelings. This is Maria Spinello by the way ☺️

When I thought to myself in September last year “I should just start my own rescue” I never would’ve imagined that we would be here already. 54 cats/kittens in our care, an AMAZING board of directors, a following of the best supporters we could ever ask for and the support of my fiancé who puts up with all kind of craziness. I’m just so grateful for all of you 🥰

Four 80’s icon kittens are getting spayed/neutered on the 2nd which means they’ll be available for adoption on the 4th - Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and Boy George. All the kittens have full run of their foster home so now they’re used to other cats and dogs. They run to visitors and love to play and snuggle!! It’s not too early to apply to adopt so we recommend filling out an application now as we’ll have a KITTENPALOOZA next month with tons of available kittens 😻

Hello again, friends. Gloria Warshaw here with an update on our "bugs" litter, the ones dumped at PetSmart. They are doing great. Ladybug, Termite, and Caterpillar come running when I walk in the door. Cricket has stopped hissing at me, and Grasshopper accepts being touched, but she's still hesitant to hang out on my lap. They are starting to eat more, but weight gain is slow. I'm pretty good at socializing kittens and fattening them up, so we'll get there. The TV in their room is always on, so they don't feel abandoned, hear voices regularly, and have something that mimics a window. They have only been with me since Friday, so they have not been subjected to the Cubs' entire 9-game losing streak.... They will remain quarantined for a few more days, with no contact with the resident cats or Baby Spice and Ginger Spice.

Good evening, followers. Gloria Warshaw here. Baby Spice and Ginger Spice are doing great. Baby Spice has been done with her FIP meds for a week now. Next week, we're having her bloodwork done just to make sure that her levels are normal, then she and Ginger will be looking for the perfect home. Baby has had a long journey, and she has been worth every second of her extended time in foster care. These two are very special girls.
