Concrete Rose Project Concrete Rose Project was founded in December of 2012 in memory of Bashon Ameel Rose. Bashon had accomplished some wonderful things prior to his untimely death.

A community-focused nonprofit providing scholarships, life-skills training, and service opportunities that help youth grow, lead and thrive. Bashon was a wonderful person who was known for his smile, keen sense of humor and his willingness to give whatever he had to those he knew and cared for. He graduated from Abraham Clark High School in Roselle, New Jersey and atte

nded Kean University in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He also became the father of a beautiful little girl, Jordyn Amaya. Bashon's story is the story of many of our youth today. Bashon entered into a lifestyle that would ultimately lead to his untimely death. On December 26, 2008, at the young age of 22, Bashon was murdered at the hands of one of his peers.
