If you’d like to participate but can’t commit to a full package, there are still plenty of meaningful ways to help. You can donate a gift card, pass along extra toys your child may have received duplicates of during holidays or birthdays, or share any unopened birthday supplies. These items always come in handy and help us create a joyful celebration.

Hi BirthdayBoxs friends!
Since we don’t receive any requests in December, I use this time to support other organizations that host Christmas events. One of them is Bakersfield Elf who is still in need of donations. We attend the same church, so if you’d like to drop off unwrapped toys at my office, you’re always welcome to. You can also reach out to him directly on Instagram or donate through the GoFundMe link on his page to help fund toys.

A heartfelt thank you to Safe 1 Credit Union - Delano and their incredible team for filling five birthday boxes this November! Birthdayboxes is dedicated to spreading joy to children in foster care. Each month, we receive a list from Kern County Human Services with the names, ages, and interests of children celebrating their birthdays. Without the support of our community and generous organizations like Safe 1 Credit Union, many of these children might not have the chance to celebrate.
Thanks to Safe 1 Credit Union’s generosity and the contributions of their employees, these five birthday boxes will bring joy, meaningful gifts, and unforgettable memories to children who truly deserve to be celebrated.
