🎉💙 Congratulations, Zack, on ONE YEAR of building and growing your Allstate agency here in Douglas County!

🎉 ONE YEAR IN ALLSTATE BLUE! 💙

One year ago, Zack officially traded in “just insurance” for Good Hands, community events, networking, giveaways, quotes, chaos, and apparently… a life-ish-size cardboard version of himself. 😂

It’s been a full year of showing up for our customers, supporting our community, growing the agency, and proving that sometimes the best way to celebrate an anniversary is standing next to yourself wearing a party hat. 🎂🥳

Cheers to ONE YEAR of Zack in Allstate Blue — and to many more years of protecting what matters most, building relationships, and having way too much fun along the way!

💙 Happy Allstate Anniversary, Zack!

Growth requires risk. 💜
Christy Young - LegalShield Independent Associate led a weekly DCC training on what it means to take risks in business—and how stepping outside of what’s comfortable can challenge us to raise our standards and grow.
Through an interactive real-life scenario, and
using a lesson from Bob Proctor’s You Were Born Rich, Christy reminded us that taking a risk doesn’t mean being unprepared. It means learning, preparing, and having the courage to move forward even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed.

Mistakes are going to happen along the way. The important part? Learn from them, prepare better, and don’t make the same mistake twice.
That’s growth—and part of how we achieve greater success. ❤️

Thank you, Christy, for a great and engaging training!

From cookies for the neighborhood kids to serving sweet treats across Douglas County. 🍪
This week’s Member Spotlight took us behind the scenes of Mama Ginger's Cookies with Tim!

Tim shared how Mama Ginger’s got its start with cookies being made for family and neighborhood kids, and how that grew into the local business we know today. We got an inside look at their day-to-day operations, their process from start to finish, future plans, and even learned that every batch is still mixed by hand.
It was fun getting to hear the story behind the cookies and learning just how much goes into every batch!

That’s one of the reasons our weekly Member Spotlights are such an important part of DCC. They give our members an opportunity to share their story, educate us about their craft, and help us better understand the businesses we’re referring and supporting.

Thank you, Tim, for taking us behind the scenes of Mama Ginger’s Cookies! 🍪

Not your typical Member Introduction. 📖💙
Zack Skoglie Garden Valley Insurance Agency Allstate took a unique approach to sharing the importance of life insurance — through a heartfelt children’s book that had the room listening.

A memorable way to share more about his business, the services he provides, and the families he helps protect in our community. 🤝

A little behind the scenes at Douglas County Connections 👀 This week’s Member Spotlight featured Lindsey Dillon of Lindsey Dillon Bookkeeping , sharing how professional bookkeeping can give business owners something pretty valuable — their time back. 📊⏰

Member Spotlights help us better understand the businesses, services, and expertise within our own network. 🤝
