TONIGHT! Have you ever thought about performing? We are having a meeting so you can learn more about the 2027 EMPOWER Peace at Home Dance & Vocals Event. Recruitment is during the months of August and September. We have scheduled two "Meet & Greets" to learn more about the commitment to volunteer as a performer. We have two other community awareness events throughout the year. You are invited to Take Back the Night (October) and Laps of Solidarity (April). Become an Empower Event sponsor and you can add sponsorship for all three events. To learn more, email [email protected].

Our committees are starting to plan for the 2026 Take Back the Night Event in October and the 2027 Laps of Solidarity Event in April. We want to thank everyone for their support this past year.

We are grateful for the community coming together to support the 120 survivors of sexual assault that Peace at Home served in 2025, by collectively walking 120 laps of the Sutherlin Community Park.
Each painted rock represents one survivor who did not have to be alone. Thank you, Caroline Samananda for volunteering your time to take these great photos.

We are getting ready for the 2027 EMPOWER Dance & Vocals show! But first, we want to THANK our donors who attended the event in 2025 and 2026 and helped fund this project.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
This year, Peace at Home is hosting its first annual event, Laps of Solidarity. We believe that no survivor should ever be alone.


We are inviting the community to walk or run with each other. Collectively we will make 120 laps together. Each lap represents a sexual assault survivor Peace at Home advocates supported in 2025. We hope that survivors know their community is here for them and they should never be alone. Event details coming soon!

The audience made some noise for the Chaos Queens. They mix life with style, sass, fun and grace. Savannah, Nasara, Jennifer, Ashley and Amanda brought an upbeat funk performance about showing up, showing out and owning who they are! Because life isn’t always perfectly choreographed. Sometimes it’s messy. Sometimes it’s loud. But when you own it? That’s where the magic happens. This piece was about confidence, resilience, and turning everyday chaos into something unstoppable. Their energy was impressive!
