Tomorrow, March 7, is National Cereal Day and the UCAN Food Bank is teaming up with Fred Meyers for a cereal drive!

Cereal is a breakfast staple, affordable, shelf-stable, and a favorite for kids and adults alike. But for families facing hunger, it can be a luxury. We also welcome oatmeal, granola, shelf-stable milk, and breakfast bars! Consider grabbing an extra box while shopping and drop it off at the bin in the front of the store.

🧀🎉 Cheese & Thank You Social Media Campaign - Week 1!

Our Cheese & Thank You social media campaign is our way of celebrating the community that makes this event so special and giving a little something back to our supporters!

Each week, we’re drawing winners for local business gift cards generously donated by many of our participating restaurants, Sherm’s Thunderbird, and our partner Thrive Umpqua, who also helped us diversify our menu with delicious plant-based options.

In total, we have $700 in gift cards to give away throughout the campaign!

The information you’ve all been waiting for… our Cheese & Thank You Cheesy Cheat Sheet is finalized, and we’re thrilled to share that 19 amazing restaurants are participating this year!

This March, enjoy delicious, cheesy creations across Douglas County while helping fight hunger in our community. During Cheese & Thank You, participating restaurants will donate $2 from every featured cheesy creation sold to the UCAN Food Bank. Every $1 donated helps provide 3 meals for a neighbor in need, ensuring every bite helps melt hunger away.

📍 Kickoff Event: Saturday, Feb 28
Swing by to grab a FREE grilled cheese and your Cheese & Thank You passport and get ready to start collecting stamps! For every 5 stamps, you’ll earn an entry into a drawing for a $150 gift card to Sherm's Thunderbird.

Today, every drink purchased at Dutch Bros CoffeeBros means $1 is donated to UCAN Food Bank to help end hunger right here in our community.

Did you know that FISH of Roseburg is supported by the UCAN Food Bank ?The funds raised today will help purchase food that goes out to 15 food pantries across Douglas County — including FISH! That means your coffee run today truly makes a difference for local families.
