I would like this organization to promote mental health in Veterans by keeping busy, having each others six, and building a family around us, while promoting good works within our communities. I have noticed a lot of veterans are in need of camaraderie and things to volunteer for and participate in to stay out of our heads.
*Looking for veterans to join this organization. To promote better mental
health within the Veteran community by doing "Good works" and "Positive activities" throughout the Veteran and Civilian communities alike. VOLUNTEER MISSIONS:
* Local Search and Rescue
* Local Disaster Response
* Community Service
* Local Charity Organization
ACTIVITIES:
* Veteran AND Civilian "Bushcraft Weekends"
* Camp outs
* Day Rucks
* Meet ups
* Family outings
* Fishing/Hunting trips
* Guided Educational Rucks
and whatever else we want to do! Important notes:
*As a small organization, we would not be in charge of any Disaster Response or search and rescue. GY6 would just be extra bodies wherever the professionals need us. If you are certified or licensed in anything, it is up to the
"Incident Commander" to allow you to use any of those skills in accordance with a federal, state, and local protocol. Although this is a veteran group, civilians are more than welcome to join as well with any community events, activities, volunteering, sponsorship.
** I'm looking for sponsors who will donate time, land and equipment for missions and activities.
*LANDOWNERS: to allow us to use land whenever we have an outing.
*EQUIPMENT USE: we will be looking for secondhand donations of anything outdoor related. We are not looking for money.Just extra equipment in case somebody doesn't have it. GUIDED TRIPS: are you somebody who knows a lot about the outdoors and is willing to teach others? Donate your time for Bushcraft and camping weekends? Please let us know if you would like to volunteer! I would like this organization to promote mental health between veterans by keeping busy, having each other six, and building a family around us, while promoting good works within our communities. Very respectfully,
