🚨 MISSION UPDATE: The road to recovery for the Command Unit.

Since we shared the news about our 2017 Tahoe’s engine failure, many of you have asked: "What’s next?" and "How can we help?"

We have a clear path forward. To ensure 911-level reliability, we are moving forward with a Jasper Class I, 5.3L engine replacement. This engine comes with 3 year / 100 mile warranty with labor!

The Cost to Get Back to Serving You:
Engine & Parts: $5,320 (Jasper Class I Assembly, oil, filters, coolant)
Specialized Labor: $2,320 (Removal & Reinstallation)
Total Goal: $7,640

In 2025, this vehicle helped us serve 100,000 people and 61,000 hot meals. Every day it sits in the shop is a day we are less prepared for the next disaster. We are not able to response to Fire and EMS call in Bastrop for our the other organizations that we respond with.

The Rosanky Revival HotRod Roundup is a charity car show scheduled for March 14th, 2026, at the Firewalker Ranch in Rosanky, Texas. This family-friendly event supports the Texas FireWalkers and features a full day of automotive activities, TFWBBQ, and live music.

Event Highlights
Location: 3004 TX-304, Rosanky, TX.

Entry Fee: $20 per car display.

Charity: All proceeds benefit the Texas FireWalkers.

Awards: Trophies will be presented for every vehicle class.

Schedule of Events
8:00 AM: Gates open with coffee and donuts.

10:00 AM: TFWBBQ kitchen opens for service.

11:00 AM: Vehicle judging begins.

1:00 PM: Awards ceremony.

2:00 PM: Event concludes with the "Drive Out / Burn Out".

The event is sponsored by Summit Racing Equipment and Duty Coin. Participants can register online through the official Texas FireWalkers website.
