Today, we reflect on the lives lost in the September 11th terrorist attacks. We acknowledge and appreciate the extraordinary bravery of the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and all individuals who sacrificed their lives.

For this fall, Delta Omega's charitable initiative will support veterans — the men and women who selflessly served our country. 🇺🇸

Below is a list of items we're collecting over the next two months to send to the Rome VA Clinic in honor of Veterans Day. We are happy to pick up anything you wish to donate and also accept monetary donations. Please email [email protected] if you need our assistance. If you would like to send a monetary donation, you can do so to our venmo -romeny. We are so grateful for the community's support with our first charity project of the year.

We held our first meeting of the 2026-2027 year tonight at the Elks Club. The year we turn 100! 🎉

We inducted Karrah DiMaggio as Recording Secretary and Sarah Anderson as Publicity. 🖊️📸

We were incredibly productive and can’t wait to get started having fun while doing good! 😊

We will be posting about our projects, fundraisers, and community events very soon. Our next meeting is October 8th. More information to come. 🍂🍁 🧡

What a fun time at the parade today!!! 🇺🇸🍬💞

We didn’t run out of candy, the music was bumping, and we got those steps in!

Thank you to all that made it happen!!! It was so fun walking with sisters, their families, and also seeing sisters in the crowd!

On Sunday, May 17th, we held our annual Scholarship Tea at the Yacht Club.

The soon to be RFA graduates, Lainey Cooney, Barbara Ciotti, and Amelia Furbeck received scholarships. The scholarship is in memory of Catherine Cavaggioni. Catherine was a very active member of Delta Omega Sorority until her passing in November 1998. She was dedicated and caring, and she exemplified the true meaning of what our sorority is about, service in the community. We respectively named the scholarship in her honor. Lainey, Barbara, and Amelia were chosen based on their community service, written recommendations, and good character.

Jillian Temple Olney, a current Delta Omega member of 8 years, received the Bobbi Jo Hunt award. This award is given to a sister who shows exemplary enthusiasm, involvement, and commitment to Delta Omega, and goes above and beyond to help the sorority. It is named for Bobbi Jo Hunt, a sister who passed away at a young age due to cancer, and exhibited these same values.

Assembly Woman Marianne Buttenschon and Abraham House CEO Gina Ciaccia were guest speakers.

The tea committee this year was Brittany Bruce Fumarola, Megan Destito Otis, and Karrah DiMaggio. Meagan Di Salvo made the beautiful desserts.

It was a lovely morning!
