Today, the members of the Lake Delta Fire Department had the pleasure of gathering with family and friends for our annual Family Clambake Picnic! It was a wonderful day filled with great food, fellowship, and celebration.

We were honored to present the Booneville Fire Company with a $500 donation toward their recovery fund. We are proud to support our fellow firefighters and our neighboring fire service community.

We also had the pleasure of presenting several special awards:

๐Ÿ† Life Member and Past Chief Bill Hoag
๐Ÿ† Past Member Matt Malorzo, recognized for his contributions toward the growth and development of the department.

A special thank-you goes out to Norris and Doug Whitmore and their crew for preparing all the wonderful food and taking care of everything from setup to cleanup. Your hard work helped make the day a success, and we truly appreciate it!

We would also like to thank our special guests for joining us in our celebration: Senator Joe Griffo, Lee Fire Commissioners Pat Hetherington and Tracy Carpenter, Western Fire Chief Mike Anania, Believe 271 Board President Fred Sherman, and State Fire Instructor Steve Stickler.

Fire School โ€œBack to Basics โ€œ. Last night At Lake Delta ๏ฟผvolunteer fire department members participated in a drill, practicing hitting hydrants and laying in with a 5 inch LDH also our members participate in throwing ladders. These are basic skills that when it comes time , must be done, efficiently and quickly great job to all those who attended.

After a very successful chicken BBQ is in the books, we would like to thank Tractor Supply Co. Shane Whaley & Randy Patnode for the donation of charcoal, Gail Sexton for the delicious desserts, Roger Perry for the cases of water, Khale Davison for the pasta salad, Dan Gorski for the salt potatoes, Joe Dunn for the rolls from Ferlos Bakery, and all the members who were there helping out and especially the community support for this event.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Yesterday, members of the Lake Delta Fire Department were proud to participate in the Rome Honor America Days Parade as we celebrated 250 years of our nation's freedom.

It was an honor to stand alongside so many community members and organizations in recognizing this historic milestone. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and show your support.
