🌟 Serve City Day One was a success! 🌟

We are incredibly grateful for these amazing teens who chose to spend part of their summer serving and volunteering throughout the 417. Their willingness to show up, work hard, and make a difference is having a real impact in our communities.

Today, the smiles were contagious, the sweat was dripping, and the work got done! 💪❤️

Thank you to every student, leader, and volunteer who helped make Day One such a success. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week holds!

Some burdens are visible. Others are carried quietly in the heart.

Anxiety has a way of weighing us down, stealing our joy, and making even simple tasks feel heavy. But God reminds us that a good word has the power to lift a weary soul.

Today, be intentional with your words. Send an encouraging text. Offer a prayer. Share kindness with someone who may be carrying more than you realize.

You never know how much a simple word of hope can change someone’s day.

Join us for Huddle next Tuesday evening at 6 at the Ranch as we discuss PTSD and Trauma in children and adolescents. Learn how trauma impacts behavior, attachment, and emotional regulation — and gain practical tools to respond with confidence, safety, and support.

Huddle classes are approved for foster parent training and provide 2 hours of credited learning. We hope to see you there!

The class provides a clinical overview of trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in children and adolescents. Learn how trauma alters brain development, behavior, attachment, and emotional regulation, and how to respond in ways that promote safety and stabilization rather than escalation.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we pause to reflect with gratitude, humility, and prayer for the families carrying the weight of that sacrifice every day. 🇺🇸
