WISHLIST WEDNESDAY and a video of our first opossums being released!
Thanks to a generous donation, we were able to purchase two of these adorable tree trunk hideaways for our opossums, and they absolutely love them! We’d love to add 3–4 more so that every wildlife enclosure can have one.
We are also currently in need of extra-small and small harnesses, as well as martingale collars. We have been taking in a large number of semi-feral and extremely fearful dogs, and it’s important that they are safely and securely contained while adjusting to life in their foster homes.
Supplies for our wildlife enclosures are always appreciated as well. We continue to grow our wildlife program and are constantly working to build up the resources needed to properly care for these animals.
Dog food that does not contain chicken is another current need. Our last bag went to Stormi, and as her skin continues to heal, we don’t want to risk any potential chicken-related sensitivities or allergies.
Lastly, we are searching for a refrigerator to help store produce, meat, formula, and other wildlife food items. With the number of animals currently in our care, we simply don’t have enough storage space for the donations we receive. We don’t need anything fancy—just a refrigerator that stays cold. A basic garage fridge would be perfect, and a freezer isn’t necessary.
If anyone has one they’re no longer using and would be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful.
Every donation, big or small, helps us continue providing the best possible care for the animals who depend on us.
