What a wonderful way to kick off the new school year! Thank you to everyone who joined us for Chalk the Walk and filled our sidewalks with colorful creations and encouraging messages for our students. We can’t wait for them to see your support as they walk into school today!

The PTA also loved welcoming our teachers and staff back with a little Teacher Appreciation on the first day of school. We hope the treats and surprises helped start their year with a smile and reminded them just how much our school community appreciates all they do.

Thank you for helping make our community such a special place to be! 📚🦅

The Rocky Point PTA wishes all students and staff, a wonderful first day back to school. From the newest Kindergarten Eagles in the class of 2039, to the senior Eagles in the class of 2027, we are looking forward to an exciting year! Over the past two weeks, the RP PTA has been busy helping welcome students back during their orientations! 🎒✏️

🥯 Incoming ninth graders began their high school journey with a bagel breakfast provided by the RP PTA.

🍔 Incoming sixth graders were welcomed to the Middle School with a delicious BBQ from Cow Palace of Rocky Point and sweet treats from Kool Kat Soft Ice Cream Truck! Students explored their new school, practiced opening their lockers and reconnected with friends.

🚌 The future Class of 2039 attended Kindergarten Orientation! Our newest students took a bus ride around town, visited their classrooms, enjoyed entertainment from mattthemusicmannewyork, cooled off with Italian ices and explored their new playground.

🔎 Incoming third graders participated in a scavenger hunt throughout JAE, helping them explore and become familiar with their new school. Their adventure ended at the playground with a delicious treat from Kona Ice!

🎈 A special thank-you to Ashley Price, who creates all of our amazing balloon columns and décor! We appreciate everything you do to make our events look extra special!

We loved being part of these exciting milestones and helping our students feel welcomed, confident and ready for a wonderful new school year! 💙🤍🦅
