Parents and Their Children.NC Our mission is to impact this generation and generations to come. Dr. Katrina Sweet is the Founder and President of PATCH .

Our Support Recovery Program is a safe place for women as they walk through their journey of recovery and healing from sexual and emotional abuse. The organization was founded in February 2011 because of educational concerns she was experiencing with her son Kevin. As a dedicated mom, both her personal experiences and love for her son protected him from a system that did not always embrace his wel

l-being. Her desire is that every child be educated and treated fairly within the school system. PATCH will not work against the school system, but will serve as a liaison that bridges the gap between the schools, parents, and the community. We are committed to holding parents, students, and educational professionals accountable for their actions. We want the school system to value students, embrace parental involvement, and acknowledge the voices of those that advocate for children. Parents and communities are the voices of our children. We must make an effort to advocate for our children, while navigating them through the isle of academia. It is our responsibility to support our children’s educational journey, most importantly, ensuring our children are valued, treated fairly and provided an equality education

When a graduating senior stops by to see you because they have a token of appreciation for you, it makes all of your challenges small. This student went to visit a family member in South America and saw an Entrepreneur selling jewelry and wanted to support his business while honoring his entrepreneurial professor!
