This looks like a good workshop to attend!

Thank you to all 4-H exhibitors and families for a great Calhoun County Expo! With the fair still fresh in everyone's mind, I would like to Invite all 4-H members to join us for a Record Keeping Workshop on September 4th, at 6:00pm. We want to help all 4-H members improve their skills for keeping records of their activities throughout the year. From any club trips and activities to the projects you brought to the fair, we can help you keep track of all that you have accomplished this year! We hope to see you there!

We had a fun time representing our club in the Calhoun County Expo! We even had some potential future members join us! I apologize that I did not get everyone’s picture, we were too busy having fun!!

Congratulations to all the members who chose to participate in today’s dog show! Everyone challenged themselves to step out of their comfort zone and work as a team with their dog in front of a crowd. It definitely is something that takes courage to do! Keep up the great work, and keep training those dogs! 🐕

Saturday, June 28th - 9:15 AM at the MANSON PARK BY POOL- Meet by the 1949 School Bus. I will hand out shirts for all club members, talk about fair expectations, check in on static projects, practice obedience, and review rally signs. Following the meeting, we will walk in the Manson Greater Crater Days Parade. Bring your own candy to throw. Friends/Family are invited to walk/with or without their own dogs with our group in the parade if they'd like. We also have room in the bus if anyone wants to ride in the parade! Should be a really fun time for all our club members and families!!

Sunday, June 29th- No Meeting - Change of Plans due to scheduling conflict.

Monday July 7th- Last Meeting will be at the Rockwell City Fairgrounds in the show arena at 6:00PM. This will be a FULL practice for the dog show on Tuesday.

Tuesday July 8th:
9:00am: Pet Check In
10:00am: 4-H & FFA Pet Show, Clover Kids showing first
4-H Club Dog Show- immediately following
Bring Crates for your dogs if you do not want to hold them during the whole dog show. This will allow you to watch the other kids showing if you choose. If you are not showing a dog we would love to have your help setting up rally signs, holding dogs, or just there to watch and support your club.
5:00pm: Parade Line-Up- (Same procedure as Crater Days Parade, all welcome again!)
6:00pm: Expo Parade

Wednesday, July 9th:
9:00-10:00 A.M.: Dog Project and Livestock Club Static Project Judging- Check in at the Expo Building

Saturday, July 12:
10:00 am to 11:00 am - Calhoun County Expo Building Dog Project Club is the HOST: WE NEED A FEW VOLUNTEERS TO DO THIS? CAN YOU HELP?? Just sit in the Expo building's front desk and observe projects and there is a notebook of things you can do to help in the building during that time.

Great job tonight! Everyone’s hard work is paying off! It’s fun to see the improvements each month! 🐾🐾 next month will be in Rockwell City at the fairgrounds to practice for the show! 👏👏

Animal ID Guidelines- All 4-H animal IDs must be done through 4HOnline.

Dogs: Dogs are entered under the “Dog” animal type in 4HOnline. Upload rabies certificate into 4HOnline by May 15.
