💚💛 And the winner is… 🏆

WOW, Rockport-Fulton! Our businesses really showed up for our first Paint the Town Green & Gold!

We’ve loved seeing the creativity, hard work, and Pirate Pride that went into every decorated storefront. Each business brought something unique, and we couldn’t be more excited about the community spirit this event has created!

A HUGE thank you to every business that participated and helped make this first year so special!

🏆 Watch until the end to see who takes home the title of Best Decorated Business for 2026!
💚💛Shoutout to Zavala’s Furniture for donating a special prize for the winner!

A huge THANK YOU to the businesses, organizations, and families who helped us bring our first Paint the Town Green & Gold to life! 💚💛

Because of these flag sponsors, we were able to line up Enterprise Dr and Stadium Drive with Green & Gold Flags and show our RFISD students and staff just how much Pirate Pride surrounds them.

We hope you’ve enjoyed seeing the flags flying around the school as much as we have! 🏴‍☠️

Thank you for investing in our schools, our students, and a tradition we hope continues to grow year after year.

One Town. One Team. One Pirate Family. 💚💛

This is what learning beyond the classroom can look like. 💚💛

Seeing our RFISD students take part in the cardboard boat races is a great reminder that the skills they build at school—creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and hands-on learning—can carry with them far beyond the classroom.

Through the grants and resources RFEF helps provide, we’re proud to support opportunities that help students explore their interests, build confidence, and prepare for life after school.

Sometimes the impact of learning shows up in places you don’t expect—and we love seeing it.

PAINT THE TOWN GREEN & GOLD!

Mayor Tim Jayroe proudly read a proclamation encouraging our community to Paint the Town Green & Gold in support of our students, teachers, and the RFISD Education Foundation!

It’s time to show that Pirate Pride!

We encourage Rockport businesses and residents to break out the green and gold, decorate your windows, doors, storefronts, and offices, and help fill our community with school spirit! There is also an opportunity to sponsor a flag to line Enterprise Drive.

Let’s celebrate with our students, teachers, and support the RFISD Education Foundation, and show everyone that it’s always a great day to be a Pirate!

💚💛 It’s almost time to Paint the Town Green & Gold!

Beginning October 5, we’re asking our entire Rockport-Fulton community to come together and show our students and staff just how much Pirate Pride lives here! 🏴‍☠️

Watch for Green & Gold flags lining our roads, decorated businesses throughout town, Pirate specials at local restaurants, and plenty of community spirit leading us right into Homecoming!

This is about more than decorating our town—it’s about showing up for our schools, supporting our local businesses, and celebrating the students and staff who make RFISD special.

We hope Paint the Town Green & Gold becomes a Pirate tradition we look forward to year after year. 💚💛
