June Foundation Focus: Teacher Grants

Summer may be here, but that does not mean the ideas have stopped.

Our teachers are already thinking ahead, planning for their students, and finding new ways to make learning meaningful in the school year to come.

This year, Grant Patrol was able to surprise RFISD teachers with around $37,000 in Teacher Grants to help bring creative classroom ideas to life. These grants support hands-on learning, innovative projects, and opportunities that help students connect, grow, and succeed.

We are so thankful for the educators who continue to think beyond the basics and dream up new ways to serve their students.

From culinary to floral to welding, our CTE programs help students connect what they are learning in school to opportunities beyond the classroom.

Grant Patrol is always one of our favorite days of the year! 💚💛

On Monday, the Rockport-Fulton Education Foundation had the joy of visiting campuses and awarding approximately $37,000 in teacher grants across our district.

These grants represent more than checks — they represent creative ideas, meaningful programs, and educators who are willing to think outside the box to help students learn, grow, and experience new opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
