🇺🇸 Yesterday, we celebrated 250 years of America—and the freedom to share our stories through dance. ❤️🤍💙

As America celebrates 250 years, we’re honored to preserve and share the dances, music, and traditions that tell our nation’s story. From the resilience of those who came through unimaginable hardship to the hopes of those who came seeking a new life, every tradition has helped shape the rich cultural tapestry of the United States.

This week, our dancers have the incredible privilege of representing the USA in France, sharing these stories with the world through dance. What an honor it is to celebrate our country while building friendships across cultures.

Join us as we continue celebrating 250 years of America-Monday, July 6th, at Opal Studios! 🇺🇸 Shows are at 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM. We’d love to celebrate with you before we head to France!

Join us on July 6th for America the Beautiful—an uplifting, family-friendly celebration of America’s 250th birthday featuring energetic dances and live music that our dancers will share in France this summer as they represent the USA at Festival Des Enfants Du Monde.

Before the show, grab dinner at Raising Cane’s or Jack’s Urban Eats and help support our dancers! A portion of your purchase will be donated back to IDAC, making your meal part of the celebration.

Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the women who help mother our IDAC community in countless ways. 💛

Today, we celebrate the moms, grandmas, aunties, teachers, mentors, and culture bearers who pour love into our dancers and musicians every single day. Thank you for the early mornings, late-night costume fixes, rides to rehearsal, hair braiding, makeup help, snacks packed, and sacrifices made so our children can dance, learn, and grow.

Thank you for sharing your stories, songs, dances, music, traditions, languages, and recipes with the next generation. Through you, culture stays alive. Through you, children learn who they are and how to love and respect people different from themselves.

Most of all, thank you for believing in our youth — for cheering them on, encouraging them when things are hard, and helping them become confident, compassionate human beings. IDAC is stronger because of the women who nurture this community with such love and generosity.

Tonight is the final night of Big Day of Giving, and we are so close to our goal! 💛🎉

At IDAC, cultural dance is about so much more than learning steps. We provide increased access to the arts while helping young people build confidence, leadership, friendship, and respect for cultures from around the world. These life-changing experiences help students grow into compassionate leaders and peacemakers in their communities.

Every donation helps us continue providing authentic cultural arts education, scholarships, and meaningful opportunities for our students.
