**Updated schedule** In the mood for some spring cleaning, but tired of being inside? Midcoast Trails needs your help keeping our trails “so fresh and so clean”.
Join us as we take on the spring sweeping for some of our favorite networks with the crowd over the next 6 weekends. We will be focusing on improving drainage, and fixing any minor trail damage that occurred over the winter.

Every workday will be sponsored by@zootcoffee, so don’t bother using the “had to grab a coffee” excuse for being late to the trails 😉

The work won’t stop after this calendar is finished, as we will be diving into bigger trail projects all summer long!

One last winter hurrah before the DIRT season begins! ❄️➡️🌱🚵
This Sunday, Midcoast Trails Stewardship and MCNEMBA are hosting the 2026 Spring Social. Come hang out at the lodge for food, drinks, and good company while we talk about the trail projects and riding season ahead.
Bring your friends, meet the crew building and maintaining your local trails, and get stoked for spring riding.
And if conditions cooperate… we’ll send it with a downhill fat bike race down the Bowl.
Let’s celebrate winter and welcome the spring season.

Things are HAPPENING this winter.
Be sure to get yourself outside this weekend - just be mindful of the conditions! As the days warm up things will get slippery, and hikers will likely start to post-hole through the groomed base. If you can, use snowshoes, fat bikes, an Nordic Skis to enjoy your local trails. This will help keep the trails more stable for everyone to enjoy.

Out for a rip while it’s frigid 🥶❄️☃️🧊
Make sure to keep those legs moving this weekend - Thomaston is pretty well groomed up.

We will be back at it later this weekend to do some finish work but this is your reminder to keep pedaling or grab those XC skies and work up a sweat!

If anyone feels the desire to help groom some trails, shoot us a message and we can train you up to run the Snowdog!

Are you feeling generous on this Giving Tuesday? Can’t make it out to a volunteer day to help us dig? Consider giving back to the trails by donating to Midcoast Trails Stewardship! Each dollar helps us build and maintain better trails for our community to enjoy. Very few activities these days have as little of an overhead cost as recreating on trails, so let’s help spread that joy this year.

Want to see where your donation would go?
$10 donation = A pair of warm gloves for winter time work.
$25 donation = A pickaxe or shovel for breaking ground.
$50 donation = A new sharp saw for clearing corridor.

However you choose to donate, or whenever you do, we thank you!
