Science, Soul, and why I’m going back to school!

If you’ve been following my journey at Edith Rose Co., you know that I don’t believe in "fluff." My foundation has always been rooted in science. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Nutrition, and I’ve spent over two decades in the health and wellness field.

I’ve spent my career learning that what we put on our bodies is just as vital to our longevity as what we put in them.
Edith Rose Co. was born out of a personal necessity. Because of my own allergies, I became incredibly particular about ingredients. I also realized that "high quality" shouldn't have to mean "ungodly expensive." I started making products for myself and my husband because I wanted clinical-level integrity without the massive corporate markup.

To keep that promise to you, I’m taking things to the next level.
I am currently enrolled in an online skincare classes with the world’s leading accredited organic skincare university. What drew me to this program is its rigor: every course is designed, taught, and reviewed by PhD scientists and industry-leading chemists. I’m immersing myself in the latest peer-reviewed research and organic formulation techniques to bridge the gap between my public health background and the skincare you use every morning.

Edith Rose Co.

For nearly two decades, I’ve worked in the health and wellness field, studying how what we put in our bodies is just as important as what we put on them.

My journey into skincare became personal after experiencing severe allergies and chronic health challenges. It led me to reevaluate everything—what I was eating, my environment, and especially the products I was using on my skin. I began focusing on reducing overall chemical exposure and choosing ingredients I could truly trust.

What started as creating products for myself turned into sharing extra batches with friends and family. Over time, that grew into small gatherings and word-of-mouth requests. I don’t heavily market—this has always been something more meaningful to me than a traditional business. It’s a reflection of a lifestyle rooted in health, intention, and care.

I work full-time and also support my husband’s remodeling and design business, Davies Builders, so all Edith Rose Co. products are made in small, intentional batches, as time allows. When I have extra, I share them. I do accept special orders when possible, but I ask for a few weeks’ notice to ensure I can source the best ingredients and craft each product properly.

Named after my grandmother—who loved her garden roses and embodied warmth and kindness—Edith Rose Co. is grounded in authenticity, simplicity, and care. 🤍

My skincare combines premium botanicals with modern cosmetic science, focusing on nourishment, repair, and visible results—without unnecessary fillers or chemical overload.

Not all skincare can or should be made outside of a lab. Certain products, like vitamin C serums, are best sourced from clinical settings for stability and potency. But many high-performance, botanical-based formulations can be created with intention—and that’s where Edith Rose Co. truly shines.
