As early as 1940, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated had begun to realize the importance of the prestige, good will, unity, and cooperation of women who for various reasons were not members of any Greek-letter organizations. In 19

48 in Houston, Texas at Boule’, the first Amicae auxiliary was chartered, making Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. the first sorority in the National Pan-Hellenic council to organize an auxiliary group. Membership is open to all women who do not possess a four-year college degree, but desire to be affiliated with Zeta. These professional women uphold the values of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. by assisting the sorority with providing positive, proactive, and far-reaching community service, both nationally and internationally. Chartered on April 16, 2022, the Amicae of Rockford render their assistance and support to their local chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, - Upsilon Chi Zeta of Rockford. The auxiliary strives to uphold the principles of community service, outreach, activities, objectives, and ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
