During EMS Week, the Rock Rapids EMT Association would like to thank all EMS providers who help serve our communities every day.

While our members serve in their official capacity through Lyon County Ambulance, we’re grateful not only for our own members, but also for the EMS personnel throughout the surrounding communities that we work alongside every day.

Thank you to everyone who answers the call, supports their communities, and works together to provide care when it’s needed most.

We’re doing our house number fundraiser again.

Purchase vinyl house numbers for your home and help support the Rock Rapids EMT Association.

Clear house numbers can make it easier for emergency responders to quickly locate your home when it matters most.

We offer durable vinyl numbers in your choice of black or white, and we will come to your home and install them for you.

Tip: Choosing a number color that contrasts with your home helps make it more visible and easier to identify.

We’re excited to share that the Rock Rapids EMT Association has been awarded a grant from the Lyon County Riverboat Foundation!

This grant will help us purchase advanced airway training equipment so our EMTs can continue training and staying prepared for emergencies.

We offer LifeVac anti-choking devices as an ongoing fundraiser for the Rock Rapids EMT Association.

LifeVac is a portable airway-clearing device designed to help in choking emergencies when standard methods aren’t working. Each unit includes both an adult and child mask, making it a good option for families and places like daycares, schools, churches, workplaces, and vehicles.

LifeVacs are $60 each (typically less than buying online after shipping). Proceeds help support our education, outreach, and community-focused work.

We’re a local nonprofit made up of EMTs who serve the Rock Rapids area.

When we respond to 911 emergencies, we do so in our roles with the county ambulance service. This Association is separate and exists to support the community beyond emergency calls through education, outreach, and local initiatives.
