I don't know if I ever formally thanked everyone for attending Saturday's Halloween Wacktacular, but thanks everyone! 'Twas ridiculously fun and the costumes ruled as always.

Stay tuned for upcoming Wacky Wednesday announcements and I suppose it's not too early to start talking about the "It's a Wacky Christmas" party.

This beautiful garment was spotted and subsequently purchased by Rob at the Bettendorf Goodwill. Mens size Large. Did someone have their WW shirt stolen? Because I surely can't imagine someone voluntarily parting with such an exquisite item. Anyway, it has been returned safely and I'd love to get it back to it's rightful owner.

MESSAGE FROM YOUR WACKMASTER
Lately, myself and some of the wacky forefathers have had conversations about the strong feelings I've been having that Wacky Wendesday has run its course. It was agreed upon by all, that WWs are not what they once were. While this is typical during the busy summer months, they seem to be lacking something, especially when one of the forefathers is out of the country

So, we have decided to take a hiatus, a "wackation" if you will. For the sake of clarity, I should mention that I definitely do not want to stop hosting gatherings as I love you all, but rather will no longer be maintaining a regular or semi-regular WW schedule. The time just seems right.

When will Wackys be back? Hard to say for sure, but mid-October seems to make sense to me. In the meantime, keep on wackin' in the free world. Thank you all for the great times, memories (or MESSAGE FROM YOUR WACKMASTER

We sure are missing us some Mike Hoffeditz on Wednesdays. Other days too, but especially Wednesdays. But way to rally my hardcore wacky friends. We haves us a good time!

Wacklenuts, Just a reminder that our dear friend Mike Hoffeditz is taking his talents to Afghanistan next week. While I frankly can't wait for the son of a bitch to get out of town, I know some of you may actually miss him.

So tomorrow night will be Mike's last wacky for 6 months. Come one, come all. While I plan to give him full DJ privileges, don't let the angry music deter you. 7:48 suckers. Hope to see you there.
