After one baby was found on the ground, the finders heard his siblings crying from a tall nest outside their home. Sadly, their mom had been gone for a couple of days... leaving them orphaned and their nest was damaged from the summer storms. ⛈️

We don't usually do at-home rescues, but with confirmation the siblings were stuck in the nest and another storm brewing, this was one of those rare situations where we stepped in.

With no way to grab the babies directly, we grabbed our tallest ladder and longest bamboo stick to carefully dismantle the nest and catch the babies in a bedsheet below. If you listen closely in the video, you can hear their cold, rain-soaked bodies landing safely! 😭😭😭

A huge thank you to and Jade for listening to those babies and taking action! Because they cared enough, Antony, Cleo, and Lena now have a second chance at life! 💕🐿️

We have the most precious baby we want to introduce to everyone… meet Dylan! 🥹🥰💕

He looks a little different. He was born without the external part of his ear (auricles/pinna) and is completely DEAF in both ears! We think this is why his mom abandoned him.😭 He gets frightened easily, but nothing a snuggle session can’t fix!

P.S. His name means “son of the sea” and when we got him, he looked like a seal or a seahorse, so a sea-related name was a must 🌊🦭🪸

Meet Roscoe and Rhonda! 💜

These summer storms are still brewing in our area and keep knocking babies out of their nest. Their nest fell from 30 ft, and luckily, they were not injured. Unfortunately, mom never came back for them and there were lots of cats in the area 😞

They’re being raised by our newest volunteer who’s doing a fabulous job giving them lots of snuggles! 🥰

Even when baby squirrels are in a deep sleep, we do have to wake them up to keep them on their rigorous feeding schedule! 💤

Such a cute little yawn from Jade! 🥹💚

We’ve seen a few comments from people saying our squirrels are spoiled rotten…….

Yes. Yes, they are…. We just love them so much! 🤣 💕

This video is a continuation from yesterday’s video and Silly was very happy to get belly scratches from mom!

Sisters can be sweet……

But they can also be a bit much when their grooming gets too aggressive 🤣

Carter getting some love from mom while splooting in the sun! ☀️

This is one of those RARE moments when squirrels are calm during the day. A video like this is important to share because it shows how incredibly affectionate and loving squirrels can be! They’re not just vermin and pests! 🩵

Baby reaching out to mom to play! 🥹

At this age (about 6 weeks old), they’re still not very coordinated, but with little hand movements and other enrichment activities, they’ll become big squirrels in no time!
