I am asking for your help.
As many of you may have heard, last night, shortly after closing, a vehicle drove through the building at www.saltfpt.com The destruction is substantial and will take some time to rebuild.
Salt. is more than a great restaurant. Katie, Armando and Whitney are great restaurateurs, wonderful people, an incredible team, and together with their entire staff, a tremendous asset to OUR community.
I stopped in a short time ago and Armando showed me the extent of damage to the kitchen. It is very emotional, for all of them, as well as myself. I have seen the hard work, the dedication, the commitment and the care that has gone into it from day 1.
We know they will rebuild. But it will take time.
They know they will rebuild.
They conveyed how grateful they are that nobody was hurt, or worse. It was abundantly clear that their TOP PRIORITY is their “people”. They want to make sure that their people “can eat”. They have a team that made the place go, and now that it has come to an abrupt stop, that team is out of work. Unemployment may help, to some level, but they deserve more. They deserve better.
We want to help in any way possible….
I don’t know if we will, but I know that we can. With YOUR SUPPORT.
🧂 Every dollar, from every order of fried dough that you purchase, from now until they get back into their kitchen, will be donated to the team at salt.fpt
So PLEASE, help us do something sweet for salt.
If you want to understand it better, go on over and take a look at their instagram page. It’s under: salt.fpt
There, you will see for yourself how much that place means to them, and to all of us. They care, and they have worked VERY HARD. For US. All of us.
Please help us to help them.
Because community is what it is all about. We are better together.
Let’s make sure their “people” “can eat”.
✌️❤️🧂
