Join us for a night celebrating our roots, our culture, and the traditions that continue to unite our community. From the Italian flag flown over the ballpark to the Italian National Anthem performed before first pitch, this is more than a game — it’s a celebration of who we are.

Bring your family, wear your colors, and let’s pack the stands in true Italian-American fashion as the Red Wings take on the Charlotte Knights!

Once a year, the whole neighborhood carried the saint through the streets — exactly the way their village did back home.
La festa. The patron saint's day. They'd kept it for centuries in Naples, in Sicily, in the little hill towns of the Mezzogiorno — and they would keep it here.
The statue out of the church on the shoulders of the men.

The dollar bills pinned to the ribbons, fluttering as it passed.

The brass band, the fireworks, the zeppole and sausage frying on the corner.

La banda playing, nonne weeping, bambini tossing petals on the cobblestones.
The American papers called it loud, foreign, too much.

For the families, it was everything — a day the paese came back to life on an American street, and God walked the neighborhood.
